Poema: Yo Soy/ Poem: I Am

Yo soy cariñosa y amistosa.

Me pregunto que piensa la gente de mi.

Yo oigo a los niños llorar.

Yo veo la luz al despertar.

Yo quiero ayudar a la gente.

Yo soy cariñosa y amistosa.

Me siento orgullosa.

Yo toco el llanto de los demás.

Yo pretendo que las personas no sufran.

Me preocupo por mi familia. 

Yo lloro por ver a la gente sufrir.

Yo soy cariñosa y amistosa.

Yo entiendo que las personas necesitan cariño y no desprecio.

Yo sueño que todo el mundo sea feliz y que nadie sufra.  

Yo intento ayudar a mis amigos.

Yo espero que mi sueño se haga realidad.

I am loving and friendly. I wonder what people think of me. I hear the children cry. I see the light upon awakening. I want to help people. I am loving and friendly. I am proud. I touch the cries of others. I pretend that people do not suffer. I worry about my family. I cry when I see people suffer. I am loving and friendly. I understand that people need affection and not contempt. I dream that everyone is happy and that no one suffers. I try to help my friends. I hope my dream comes true. I am loving and friendly.
